Former The Bachelorette star and current Dancing with the Stars contestant, Hannah Brown had dancing on the brain when she ran into her Bachelorette ex, Tyler Cameron, at the People’s Choice Awards. It seems that there was no bad blood between them, but Hannah’s just focused entirely on the celebrity dance competition.

Hannah took home the People’s Choice Award for Competition Contestant of 2019, beating out two of her exes - Colton Underwood and Tyler Cameron - who competed for her heart on season 15 of The Bachelorette. As fans know, the former pageant queen had a tough time on the series in which sex-shaming, religion, and lying were the biggest topics on the season. After breaking up with her fiancé on The Bachelorette, Jed Wyatt, she asked runner-up, Cameron, on a date at the live portion of the finale. He agreed to it and Cameron was seen leaving Hannah’s house early one morning. Hannah’s fans’ collective hearts broke for her after just days later when Cameron was spotted going home with supermodel Gigi Hadid. The former pageant queen immediately went from her rough time on the dating show and threw herself into the competition of Dancing with the Stars and hasn’t looked back.

Hannah - who had avoided her exes -  ran into her former lover, Cameron, at the People’s Choice Awards after they were both in the running for the Competition Contestant of 2019 award. Before beating him out of the award, she revealed that she saw him backstage. She told Us Weekly about the exchange. She said that her former flame “just asked about dancing.” The 25-year-old Dancing with the Stars contestant said, “I told him I’m focused on that. … That was [a] really quick little ‘hi.’” She revealed that Cameron was actually with his mom as his date to the awards show, she said, “I actually saw him and his mom and I said hello to them.” She continued, “I think it’s really sweet that he brought his mom.”

Now that Hannah is fully focused on winning Dancing with the Stars, nothing is going to distract her from winning the coveted Mirror Ball trophy. When asked if she was nervous with the idea of going to an event knowing that she might run into two of her exes, she said, “I think I have so much going on right now. I mean, I came straight from practice for the show tomorrow, so there’s no place for nerves. And honestly. I’m just really focused on myself right now and I’m just really glad that I’m able to be here and celebrate the nomination of the award.” She also spoke about how she feels winning the prize, saying, “It was such an honor because that award is voted on by the fans that support and love me. So I feel like we all won together.”

The Southern belle isn’t letting old flames get in her way of winning, both the People’s Choice Awards and, hopefully, next will be the Mirror Ball Trophy. The former Bachelorette has been focused on her dancing in order to prove it to herself and to her fans that she has what it takes to win it. It seems right now, Hannah only has dancing on the brain, and rightfully so, as the competition is heating up. Fans will have to see if all of the focus and determination will pay off this week on Dancing with the Stars.
